Monday, Nov. 19, 2001 - 19:50 *Sigh* lots of my favourites seem to be passwording their diaries and only one let me know the password (and only two warned me they would be locking it!!)... completely out of the blue too, it was so nice to think of me :-) Not one of my closer diarylanders either. All the others... well, I'll cope. Art for Mercy cake sale today! We held a creative cake competition and auctioned the cakes off, as well as selling lots of small cakes too. It went so well, thank you God. I will inform you of the final amount, but we already have in excess of £60 from the sale alone. I'm massively impressed. The money goes to AIDS victims in Africa, a worthy cause indeed. I am wildly grateful to everyone who contributed. They are lovely people. I made some rock cakes, we all (CU) helped sell the cakes although Lucy was the one mainly organising. We roped in my old Spanish teacher, the most eccentric man I have ever met, in order to do the auction. He is, in fact, a very good auctioneer. Poor Mr JE - chemistry today for some reason he covered Dr. C's lesson, and had to put up with most of the class wandering in late, half of them going off to do the biology experiment (making yoghurt!) and me wandering in late because of the cake sale and then Mrs. Smith announcing the auction on the PA and interrupting him.
