A Curious Girl: Back... er... home?

I'm baaaaaaaack.

I'm back at looneyversity. My phone everyone free session I was planning on Sunday did not go to plan. Poot. Got to talk to James but don't have David's number (will I ever find a good time to write you a proper reply to that lovely e-mail you sent me?? Argh!), and Lucy wasn't in so grrr.

And I've cancelled my next driving test, planning to take one in the summer.

The film (HP&CoS) was good. Very good. The first bit was a bit rushed but the second half was just the right pace. Very frightening though...

Lectures are all right. I'm really going to have to write out one of the genetics problems I did, it involved Mr. Spock and the probability that his children will have pointy ears. Had another workshop today, it was all right. I need more wacky lecturers. One of them has a strong German accent which is so stereotypically German it's fun to listen to, but we've lost jelly baby death man and this woman who's obsessed with Mendel, going on about how she went to his monastery and calling him 'my friend Mendel.' And showing us her holiday pictures of her getting 'blessed' by Mendel.

One other lecturer was using an overhead projector and a fly flew onto his acetate so we could all see the projection of it on the screen. He then proceeded to knock the screen as if to scare off the silhouette of the fly...

'Tis good to be back. 'Twas good to visit home, too, can't wait for Christmas! :D I popped into Work on Saturday night to say hi, it was actually really cool...

Anyway... *Sigh* as usual I've said nothing of note and now I have to go. Tutty bye.
