Between goodbyes and hellos
Sunday, Sept. 22, 2002 - 21:59 *sigh*... Well I had the pre-uni bash yesterday - mostly friends from school and the Munch Bunch (Soul Survivor!). It was fun. It was kinda nice that all I provided was food and the house and it turned out to be a pretty good little party (I asked people to bring CDs, and let them attack the CD player as they wished). Bleh. I'm gonna miss them. Just didn't seem enough somehow, but is any goodbye ever enough? How do you tell people how much they've made your life brighter, more fun, and made it drag a little less every day? I'm so glad I had the party though :) It was cool. Plus I made toast puns... sorry, inside joke :) Mum said that Duck looks like Gareth Gates. lol :) Ooh, Church was very good tonight. The visiting speaker spoke from Revelation, how we often get lukewarm and lose our fire. He finished early too, which visiting speakers don't usually do :) He talked about how we need to listen to God - to be 'in tune' to him. Afterwards, Margaret and Joan on the Ministry team prayed for me, and Margaret suggested VHF - Very Holy Frequency :) I'm very excited about York. But very scared too... perfect love drives out fear... One of these days, I'm going to have to draw up a list of my favourite quotations on love... I've had a few in my head these past few days..
