Seeing as nothing is going on in my cyberlife other than than guestbooks, I thought I'd comment.

Thanks Ali, your message was appreciated. I agree, but it's good to be kept in check. I don't really want a flame war as I've done 'religious debate' enough already and I know it doesn't achieve anything, but on the other hand, when I disagree with something, on-line anyway, it gets very tempting to 'fly off the handle' so to speak. I liked what you said about meeting in a coffee house, thus why it is the title of this entry :-) Weird though it may sound, I'm developing quite an affection for Bryce. It's partly because I think what he believes is a complete load of tripe - and his passion against everyone else, especially Christians, makes me feel sorry for him because it give me the general impression that he thinks that he knows it all. This is a tragic assumption when you believe, as I do, that his beliefs are tripe. The ironic thing is, as he so cleverly pointed out in my guestbook, his view of me is rather similar. Which is why it's pointless arguing - I know prayer is much more powerful, because God is much more powerful. This brings me to the other reason I feel affectionate towards him - the sole purpose of a flame war would mean that he paid me attention, and that I gave him controversy... he likes controversy, I like attention, it's so perfect we ought to get married :-) Only he already is married! I will just have to quash the desire for attention with my desire for him to know God, because hate and prejudice will hurt him first of all. So yeah, I agree - I'll be gentle, I do not want to deal out a pile of insults, that would be wrong of me. So yeah, unless he provokes me, I'll try to keep quiet from now on. After all, I'm just another dumb ass from the Jesus squad. (Doesn't dumb ass mean 'mute donkey'??)
