Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001 - today's date
Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2001 - 18:23 Sheesh. How many casualties? Life inside my 'bubble' is OK. Good, in fact. Everywhere else - what about the New Jersey River of Life lot? It's too horrible to think about. Thoughts are coming thick and fast. Part of me feels selfish... I can live out my everday life, and if I wanted to, disregard it completely. I actually want to do that. Pretend my world is really a bubble, only a few miles wide. But I won't. Evil is everywhere - loud booms of triumph and soft whispers under a false sense of peace. Secret exchanges in the night. Let's forget. Let's forget that across the sea thousands of people were killed or injured by a few individuals. Let's forget the people so sick of heart they could open fire on their peers. Let's forget people's self-importance and their slow and sick progression to the destruction of others for personal gain. Let's forget that people are starved and killed by diseases we could have prevented. Let's forget...
