Day off school
Monday, Oct. 01, 2001 - 09:08 We're having an extension built... the thumping noise from the builders is driving me mad. I have to tidy my bedroom today. I'm not at school as it's an inset day. Church yesterday. Ever read Isaiah 6? Well, that's kinda how I felt. Remembered how I've treated Sally's mum Helen in a rather pathetic manner, among other things. And our minister talked about praying for our enemies (like on a global scale, people like Osama bin Laden and Saddam Hussein). I don't have any real enemies - no-one's going to set fire to my house or blackmail me etc. But there are a few people I don't like very much that I really feel the need to pray for. It's not easy but I know that these people need God so much. I don't like them very much but I want to love them even if liking is impossible! I also have to do some work today. Grr. Oh well. Wonder if dropping a subject would mean that I got my work done properly or mean that I spend more time lazing around? Well, that is the big debate.
