I'm a 'Dumb ass from the Jesus Squad'
Wednesday, Oct. 03, 2001 - 22:06 Ahem. I found this guy's diary through a banner ad with the simple message 'Diary of an atheist'. That interested me. I don't get why some atheists believe their lack of faith is the defining characteristic of their nature. Probably some cultural thing - people I know tend to assume you're an atheist or an agnostic unless you say otherwise. The title of this entry is courtesy of him; I liked it, nice variation on the 'fool for Christ' thing. I would say something about his diary too, except it rather speaks for itself. In short, from what I've seen, it's anger coloured with hate. (If you're reading this, Bryce, and you disagree, well, sign the guestbook or something.) It also reminds me why I'm a Christian in the first place... I'm sure that wasn't the idea, but never mind, eh?
