A Curious Girl: Eccentrics, eccentrics

Haha, three hour practical indeed... it was just a few probability questions.

Favourite thing about my degree so far - probably this morning's tutorial. Least favourite thing so far - Wednesday morning two hours of extra maths. I don't really like maths. Plus I'm actually reasonably good at it. Which makes these lessons even more uninteresting, and seem more pointless. And I have two chemistry lectures straight after. Joy.

My lecture was pretty good. How can you not love a lecturer who begins a lecture with 'I'm going to tell you the secret of life'? I love this guy. He's madly obsessed with biochemistry, actually used the word exquisite to describe proteins, which I last heard used by my Grandma to describe my cousins when they were babies. Plus we spent five minutes attempting to see proteins in 3D whilst he went and bought some cookies. He's a tad eccentric.

Speaking of eccentric, Matthew the scary suit guy is madly in love with me. I didn't mention it before because my parents read this but I told them on Sunday so it's OK. He makes Lucy's French teacher (some of you know who I mean :) ) look normal and Rory look aloof.

*sigh*

He reminds me of one of Fanfiction.net's writer's portrayal of Uric the Oddball. He was either insane or a genius. I figure that Matthew is probably both.

Sian texted me this morning - 'so, what happened between u & suitboy when we left u last nite?! do we place bets? coz dougsoc think u r a more likely couple than K & I.'

What happened when they left? He gave me his bottle of wine (from the scavenger hunt), left and then called me asking if I was free for dinner the next day. The next day I told him I wasn't in the mood.

Beginning to think that all love is unrequited... (yeah, a Susan Ivanova quote!). I know it's not true, but couldn't there be some simpler system?

And do you think that scary suit guy is ever normal?!? I don't want to judge straight off but at the moment I can't see anything happening but me getting gradually more and more annoyed as he hugs up to my sheep coat... Author's note: haha, famous last words... if you're reading this Matthew *mwa*
