Thursday, Dec. 20, 2001 - 18:08 Just for anyone who didn't get the message... CHRISTINA GOT INTO OXFORD!! (happy now?) I never told you about the Generation game we did for Charity week - well, I was a contestant, made it to the final but didn't win on account of the other team having the history teacher all the girls fancy :-) Duck dressed up as a girl, he was the lovely assistant. And... *blink* everyone's being so nice to me (I admit, the title was a little tongue-in-cheek :-) ). Where did I pick up all these forgiving, reassuring friends? Well, you're all lovely. :-) I got two guestbook signings for the The Point Horror Plot Generator and other assorted geekiness today, I got the most beautiful skies all day, Connie and I were admiring the sunset on the bus on the way home - peaches and pinks and purple streaks of cloud, and the reflection glistening on the river. Why does God give us more than we deserve? I have no idea. Except that he loves us. He gives us streaky purple skies, beautiful, lovely friends, life, and an invitation to be friends with him. And I've changed so much since I didn't know him. All the compliments I've received could never have been given truthfully to me when I was wandering around without him. So thank you, God.
