Nice to know that someone cares!
Tuesday, Oct. 02, 2001 - 20:15 You may be pleased to know I am feeling better. The fact that I have schoolwork to do hasn't yet kicked in, so this may change... I spent today in York - University Open Day. I liked the uni a lot - they want lower grades than Bath, but I liked the department more - couldn't find the chaplaincy, which was annoying, so a balance really. If I get an offer from both I can make a proper decision then. When I got in I had a letter from Sally's mum Helen - major prayers before opening, but it was a lovely letter, telling me some of the news about her and Sally - she has MS and she's been having a particularly bad time recently, so if you could pray that would be cool :-) She also asked me to pray for Sally, and said she would send me days to meet up. I am feeling so much better about this... thank you God... I sent her a letter after I came back from Holland, but when she didn't write and Sally phoned and said 'thank you' for her, I thought she was still mad at me about stuff that is earlier on in this diary. Ahah - here for instance. But it's OK, she likes me, and that makes it much easier to like her... And the atheist diary guy signed my guestbook... how sweet of him... actually his entry made me laugh - it was a slight paraphrase of the entry I left in his guestbook. If he wants to chuckle at me, he can. I'd rather he laughed at me than ignored me totally (or took the other tack, and decided to kill me...). It's rather touching that he went to all the effort. Do you know that practically every entry I wrote in January metioned David?? It's odd, I find that crush rather nauseating now. :-) Maybe because I'm so mature. Yeah, right.
