Yes, I really do write in this diary
Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2003 - 14:01 *sigh* it's been a long time. I've been so busy. I actually delight in having nothing to do (not that I ever do, but I can pretend and watch a film or read a book for a while). I can't think of much to say to be honest. I had interviews for the Year in Industry. Gah. Had to get up really early to get to the company, and was subjected to evil questions all day, such as "Have you ever had to work with someone you didn't like?" "Describe an experiment where something went wrong" "What do you like least in all your course?" I don't see the point of the latter question, it sounds more like they want a 'smart answer' rather than a genuine one. Plus I hate playing favourites, so playing least favourites isn't particularly easy. You're supposed to be positive about something whilst being negative. It felt like the riddle of the Sphinx or something. The last interview (for no apparent reason, they interviewed me four times) was the best - the interviewer chatted to me for a bit. I liked him, he didn't ask me stupid questions. Afterwards I was absolutely exhausted from the brain exertion. I swear, I'd had to be on my guard practically all day. Even lunch didn't quite feel comfortable knowing that I was eating it with the people who might be employing me next year. But on the plus side I did get to see Mum afterwards. Yay! Heh. I'm going now. Bwahahahaha.
