A Curious Girl: Just so you know I'm not dead or something...

OK, I just got two messages from SignMyGuestbook.com and only one guestbook signing. Curious.

Anyway, thanks to peeps for signing the book.

Aaah, had an interesting few days. I've finally seen Ricci's film, Toast, it's impressively random. I went to Neil's party on Friday - cheesy music! It was good fun, lots of old friends were there and Evil Dave, though looking decidedly unimpressed with the selection of pop hits, said he came because Neil came to his party with his music. It's at times like that I know that we aren't casualties to fashion. What a relief.

Sunday after work I went to Grandad's birthday party... it was a really nice evening, my cousins hugged me to pieces as soon as I came, they'd saved some raspberry pavlova for me, I saw the kittens Rufus and Nero (aaaaaaaw), I tasted Alex's homegrown veg (quite the gardener, is Alex) and all was good. And we watched Men in Black II, which was cool. And yesterday was Mum's birthday, which was nice too! As well as that, I met up with David, Lucy and Lucy, and later Jessica, none of whom you'll remember, but never mind :) Aaah. I must confess, I miss university, but there are definite good things about being back.

I do have lots to say about the fine selection of guestbook signings I received after last entry (it must pay to be controversial ;) ) but for now I'm afraid all I can say is... No, I haven't read the Screwtape Letters, it's on my mental to-do list.

I really hope I don't die before I come to a conclusion. My funeral will either be really phoney or, "Well, we don't know if Helen's up there in glory because she was going through a heretical phase..."
