Missing her, and my unsubtle driving instructor
Friday, Apr. 19, 2002 - 20:14 In my random waffle earlier today, I managed to miss everything of relevance. I do really miss Sara. It's only been a week, and my free periods have become really boring, my lunchtimes are spent mainly with the boys in Year 12 who are technically my friends even though many of them behave like *expletive*s most of the time, and I miss her fun company, intelligent conversation and I even sort of miss the nicotine fumes. I MISS SARA!!! And when I felt mad about her leaving (it didn't sink in straight away, unlike with Abi when I told her) it wasn't just because I thought it was silly to leave two months before it's over. It's because I thought she'd be around for those two months... and bloody hell, in case you haven't guessed, I miss her. But I still love her, and I can't know what's going on with her at the moment. Bry says I can come up and visit sometime - yay! I had a driving lesson today - first one in about a month. Carolyn was worried that I might have forgotten how to drive! (I sent her a text saying, 'Is it gear clutch or clutch gear?' which made her giggle :) ) After about 20 minutes, she said, 'This is going to sound really horrible, and I don't mean it like that but... I'm really stunned at how well you're doing!' Yay! Carolyn told me about how she got rather rudely spoken to by an examiner who told her that her students pumping the brake during an emergency stop gave him neck problems. She said, 'Maybe you should consider a different profession!' The examiner asked the chief examiner who she was, and he said, 'That is one of the best instructors in this area so don't upset her :)' Random word for today: << last entry ... next entry >> Interesting doughnuts - Sunday, Feb. 05, 2006 Blogging, why? - Friday, Feb. 03, 2006 Dreams, climate change - Friday, Feb. 03, 2006 In the shadows - Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 |
