A Curious Girl: Random mutterings

I'm gonna have a busy Valentine's Day this year... I saw a notice up for a poetry competition et je ne peux pas resister. If that's the right French.

She sent me an e-mail that really touched me, as well as talking to me after church about the stuff in the last entry. She made a very good point. God desinged me. I am made by God. So I shouldn't worry about how I look or how much I weigh, or whether I have jeans that fit. He thinks I'm beautiful. If he didn't, he would have made me differently.

Listening to Audio Adrenaline. They're actually really cool. It makes a change to be listening to some new music. A nice change. Must do it more often.

Did some work in the Study Area today because the Library was closed because of refurbishment and stuff. It's hard to concentrate when you've got a sign ahead of you saying "Make wise use of every moment of time" and a condom nailed up with a nic-nac hanging out of it. My school is such a strange place. Funny really, six years ago it seemed perfectly normal.

Absolutely soaking wet waiting for the bus this afternoon. The whole of Gillingham felt like it needed a tumble-dry. Even my underwear was wet, that's how soaked I got.

Better go now, the parents have been telling me to spend less time on the internet and do more work. Which is fair enough, I guess.

(Erin - the phrase "We're only doing this because we love you" did come out from my beloved mother, but Clive (a Biology teacher) was slightly more original. He found a Biology paper with a C in my room and started questioning me. "I'm doing all right in Psychology," I say. Bs mainly.

"What about English and Chemistry."

"Chemistry's fine. (It's my best subject) And English, is well, easy."

"Why Biology?"

He doesn't believe me when I tell him there's a lot to learn. Sad really.)
