I want a lobotomy!
2000-11-29 - 19:46

I hate school. I hate A-levels. I hate not being able to write my stories because I've got Biology homework to do. I hate the fact that I ever thought I wanted to be a doctor. The only reason for that was because it was an excuse to travel far and wide, and make a difference.

I've said it now. Doesn't make me feel much better, but I'm getting surer everyday that I'd rather be doing something else, something worthwhile.

Today we did a proximity experiment in psychology, and Laura was my partner. She said, "Year 13 is shit so leave now."

I would have just ignored it, but it's one of those things that just comes just as you would welcome it, if it were true.

Lee hugged me again today. I don't know what it is with him. And Richard what'shisname was being strange. He kind-of annoys me. He kept being jokey-rude, but I couldn't make out whether this was a mad way of saying he likes me, or an easy way of saying he doesn't like me. You know, it's all joking, so you don't feel guilty.

Boys are strange. Or men are strange. Or whatever those damn adolescents are. They are too damn incomprehensible. I think their brains work differently - simpler in some areas, more complex in others. In fact, Mr. DE says female and male brains /are/ different. So that proves something.

Ah, the male. A curious creature.

I also watched a video of a transorbital lobotomy, or pre-frontal leucotomy. It was gross.

Loads of people didn't turn up to Communication, because they thought that Mrs Smith gave us the lesson off. I knew this wasn't true because we still had to read up on the Jamie Bulger killers and be put into groups. So Mrs T turned up, and Me, Debbie and Richard A (don't believe I've mentioned him - he looks like William Hague) were the only ones there. Still, we talked for a bit. Then I went to IT and spent the entire lesson on the 'net.

I found a cool story on the Telegraph site, I will put the link below... (sorry, I removed that a while ago)
