Not exactly what I was expecting
Friday, Aug. 16, 2002 - 09:51 Thank you Nicky, Jonathan, Lois and Becky :D I bored everyone to death yesterday telling them I was going to York :) I called Asil yesterday. Told him my results. I also finally plucked up the courage to tell him I didn't want a boyfriend. He seemed... bemused. It was just friendly, he said, and nothing like that. Er, all right then. On one hand I now feel slightly stupid that I thought he meant it as anything more than that. Although I'm kind of relieved that I didn't break his heart or anything :) And I'm kinda amused that I'm still the eternal spinster... (One day I will be an old lady with hundreds of cats). And he knows now. So I'm happier to be around him and talk to him, because he is a nice guy. And if it was just meant to be friendly that might even mean that he asked me to the cinema because he thought I was nice not because he fancied me. Which is good. I have to confess... I'm confused. It wasn't like he just randomly asked if I wanted to go to the cinema because he was going anyway. And he did pay for dinner. And asked me out since. So it's kinda... odd. Anyway, he knows how I feel, he knows I'm toddling off to York University in October, so that should be OK. Hopefully he doesn't think I'm psycho or anything. So last night, after we'd been out for a meal (mmm, very nice, in my favourite bit of Bluewater. Stephen's girlfriend is cool, too) I got in to discover he'd texted me. Hello, hi sweetie, how r u, i am fine. 4 some reason i keep thinkin about u. Take Care! asil. I thought women were meant to be the confusing gender. Remind me to sign up as a Jedi. Right after I wrote that entry, Wucy texted me saying, 'I keep thinking about you too. are you more confused now? roflmao'. LOL! Thanks Lucy.
