A Curious Girl: News on the way

What a crazy life I have.

There were things I was planning to talk about, but I've forgotten for the moment... so I'll have to talk about something else for the mo, possibly.

James... ah, James. What a paradox you are. I never no whether to cheer or strangle you! Today we were having a heated discussion, on weirdly many of the main issues of last entry. Ricci and Mark seemed quite offended at some of James's assertions... although they were veering near to the YOU'RE GOING TO HELL!! side, I did agree with what James was saying. Ricci was arguing for 'All beliefs are equally valid' which I was arguing against on the basis that all beliefs can't be equally valid unless there is no evidence for any of them above any of the others. At the end of it Ricci and Mark were condemning James for having a superiority complex and I felt a bit crap to be honest. And I don't know whether I got out of these accusations because they were telling me these condemnations, and not him, or because I actually managed to keep fairly clean during the discussion, or because they actually weren't paying any attention to me during the discussion, which would be depressing, for a whole variety of reasons. I don't know why I seem to need constant reassurance, but there you go.

Oooooh yes... now onto better news............

MY SISTER'S ENGAGED!! :-) She and Jonathan are now planning on tying the knot. Well, in a few years' time *grin* but it's official. But she has a lovely diamond ring, and they're such a wonderful couple. *hugs* to you both.

Ah yes... Friday was the last day of Charity week at school. It was Sixth Form and Teachers fancy dress, and I didn't have much time for a costume so I made one out of wrapping paper. It was rather amusing :-) I have pictures of various other people too. I'll have to tell you about that later though... I am sooo tired.
