In perspective
Monday, Dec. 02, 2002 - 20:53 *smile* Isn't it funny how the day looks better once you've got all the work out of the way? *sigh* OK, so things aren't perfect but I've got much more perspective. Last night I was feeling so down and Matthew had to bear most of it, and today I can't help but realise how lucky I am that I don't have to bear it alone. Also Catherine suddenly said to me today, 'Helen, it's your birthday tomorrow, isn't it?' which was nice, call me an attention seeker but it's nice that she noticed :D Heh. Aww, I dunno, after lectures/practical were out of the way today, seeing Matthew and receiving multiple hugs (also he'd popped to the Union shop to buy me a little present, a heart-shaped tea-light, aaaaaaaw), things really don't seem so bad after all. *smiles* Thanks Nicky, me is most grateful for the guestbook signing *huggles*. Thanks for the advice, and do stick it out hun, you've got a lot to offer :) Matthew's asked me to mention 'Fat Bottomed Girls' by Queen. Matthew told Georgist Voice in an interview yesterday, "It's a really good song. And so's 'These are the days of our lives'." Haha, you wouldn't get that but I find it funny :) Random word for today: Penultimate << last entry ... next entry >> Interesting doughnuts - Sunday, Feb. 05, 2006 Blogging, why? - Friday, Feb. 03, 2006 Dreams, climate change - Friday, Feb. 03, 2006 In the shadows - Sunday, Jan. 29, 2006 |
