A long time ago, in a galaxy far away...
Wednesday, May. 08, 2002 - 11:20 I watched Return of the Jedi last night, so that I am now no longer a Star Wars virgin to any degree :) I borrowed the videos from Rory. It only struck me yesterday that it might be a ploy to get me to come see Episode II with him. Although at least I know he wouldn't be trying to snog me in the back of the theatre. In any case, Lucy H is going during half term, so I'll probably go with her. Yay :) Apart from Mum coming in during the last half hour and making silly remarks, I really enjoyed it. I think I would have cried at the end if the last bit with Vader in it had been any longer... Simply wonderful. I was also a bit surprised by the ending, although not that much :-) Already, I've managed to get into an argument as to which film is best. I definitely say Return of the Jedi, as does Lucy H., because it has Ewoks in :) Rory and Evil Dave both said it was terrible because of the Ewoks, and because of the bit that nearly made me cry. Which just goes to show, it can work on any level! :) So Rory and I both like Star Wars... but we appear to like it for entirely different reasons!
