Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, all you got to do is call...
2001-08-14 - 23:26 I'm getting worried about a few people. Several people on my buddylist wrote depressed sounding entries today, and I'm not sure what to do 'cept pray. I have no advice currently, nothing I'm sure anyone would like to hear. But I do have an e-mail address - so if anyone feels depressed, I'll listen to you rant and be sympathetic, if nothing else... Maybe a good address to use for this situation (I have several, being with another.com) is Auntie_Helen@agony-aunt.co.uk! But seriously, don't just leave me to be worried. I hate being worried! Talk to me! I am now feeling guilty too because I never called Sally even though I knew she was having hard times. If I told Mum, she'd think Sally was the problem - No. Sally may call late to talk about nothing but the truth is I'm still scared of her Mum since last time I met up with Sally, she didn't even want me around. I know she's ill but I feel like I really sank in her estimation of me, like she thought of me as a pillar when I turned out to be nearer a door stop... if you get the analogy. And I am really skint at the moment. I know - maybe I'll text Sally. My phone has more money than I do. Mum says she'll at least pay half of the Expedition cost, which is good. Poor Sally, having cowardly me as a friend, too afraid to risk being yet another disappointment; what kind of friend am I? I'll call her tomorrow, tell her I'd like to chat even though we can't meet up as she's probably much richer than I am at the moment (and I usually pay for everything - or her Mum does). Unless we both walk to somewhere that's free. I can name one free museum...
