Wednesday, Sept. 18, 2002 - 15:15 I had a driving lesson yesterday. First one in ages. Since I failed my test, in fact. Carolyn said it was the best she'd ever seen me drive :) I haven't a clue what she's on, but never mind, just nod and smile :) Carolyn's very funny. And very sarcastic. Her husband Phil, who used to teach me, is one of the calmest, gentlest people I know, whereas she (whilst being very nice!) is very straightforward, but sarky and less gentle. She's a lot of fun. We can sit there and insult each other to our hearts' content. Yesterday she was telling me that Phil was saying how sweet I am, and she said, 'Crap! She's a sarcastic bat!' Needless to say, I was amused :) Hence the poll. Today I went to see Signs with Christina. It was that or The Importance of being Earnest and we went for Signs because of Mel Gibson. Hehe. I liked it. A bit corny in places, but scary in the right way and the kid actors were pretty good. As was Mel and whoever the guy playing Mel's brother was. It hd quite a powerful Christian message, too, I was surprised. I'd like to go to Faith and Light tonight. Rachel told me that two of the members have died. It's very sad :( I'm having a pre-uni bash on Saturday mainly for my school friends. Sarah and Becky who I got to know at Soul Survivor should also be there. A couple of people, like Lucy and David, haven't replied yet :( Hope they're there.
