Socialising, and the rest was a waste
2001-07-02 - 22:01 Not feeling too great. My shyness has really been getting me down lately - want to pray with someone about it, but it's been kinda difficult. Today was a bit of a pain. I had a chemistry test (Mr. JE was away for the first time in years. Not ill - a conference I think. Does he get ill?) and apart from collecting sheets and a letter, today was not particularly productive. Added to that, I had a job organising going out tonight for Duke of Edinburgh's Award stuff, managed to completely muck that up, and when I went, we didn't do anything. Waste of time! However I did do some interesting things today. I heard a conversation between Adarsh and Mr. B. Adarsh: Is Mr. JE like a normal person? Interesting. So firstly, as I've been meaning to for a time, I repent of every nasty comment I've written about him in this diary. Seriously - he's, well, usually emotionless, but I've been kinda cruel at times. I wonder if I could get Mr. B to persuade our beloved chemistry teacher to share this sense of humour with us. I could do with Chemistry being lightened up a bit. I mean, I know he can smile but it'd be nice to feel that he cares about more things than our education. I'm being rather judgemental, I suppose, as he appears to care about our education very much indeed. It'd be hard to beat his enthusiasm for pumping as much knowledge into us as possible. And I also saw Ricci, which was nice. He'd come in to check some books in or something like that, and so he, Chris and I hung around during fifth period for a bit. I said something a bit suggestive and he wanted me to write in down in my planner along with my other 'quotable quotes'. He tried to persuade me by pouring cold water in my head. It being boiling hot, a better way of doing it would have been to stop pouring cold water on my head. So I got a nice shower although he missed one side of my head. And I had a conversation with Mrs. T - her daughter is childminded really near to where I live. She offered - practically insisted - to give me a lift home in the evenings. Isn't that cool? More time to do homework etc. Had some thinkings, but I will have to share them another time. Finally got my story website up - only four so far, and three of them are on my scribble site (see links below), but there will be more, I promise. Check it out here.
