The Standard 'Back at Uni' Entry
Monday, Oct. 06, 2003 - 11:09 So yes, here I am, back in the frozen North where the blackberries haven't even ripened yet, and forced to actually wear a coat *gasp*! I took Mary the umbrella plant with me even though it's looking very sad after being subjected to the hottest summer in Britain's recorded history (and me forgetting to water it) and now has four branches, two of which are very small. Think I'm going to buy a cactus. Hah. I have a new bootiful room, with a double bed and big desk and lots of drawers and a fireplace in case I need to Floo anywhere*. And I have an exam tomorrow. Hurrah. But I've seen Matthew - yay! and he bought me a present that he left at home (this amuses me immensely for some reason :) ), but he's told me what it is - a DNA model *big grin*. *Not that I could even if Floo powder existed, since it's tiny and could possibly fit a House Elf, but since House Elves 'teleport' everywhere, there's really no point.
