Thank you Norah, Hsiu, Alice and Mum for you nice comments on my recipe.

Here are some jokes. Try not to laugh to death. No really, at least attempt to...

Two atoms meet. "Goodness me!" says one, "I've just lost an electron!"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes, I'm positive!"

*

A neutron walks into a bar, and orders a drink. The barman hands it over and he says, "How much?"

"No charge."

*

Why did the white bear dissolve in water?

Because it was polar.

Laugh? I nearly cried...

Boring weekend. Oh damn, think I just embarrassed myself. I was *sure* that I e-mailed the women's officers about women's committee, but the e-mail hasn't appeared in my 'sent' folder. Although this might be due to me sending it with Netscape Messenger not Outlook. I will have to go check on a Netscape machine... *sigh*. Otherwise my e-mail to them may sound a bit snooty, and I don't want to annoy them without cause, they scare me already. ("Our election proves that anyone who thinks that the women's officer is unnecessary can just F*** OFF!!" was their election speech. Gee, thanks, how more-feminist-than-thou... What the elections mainly proved was that anyone can win if they plaster campus with enough pictures of themselves.)

I love Bremner, Bird and Fortune. Matthew and I watched it last night. It's nice to see something that illustrates how ridiculous things are.

Have you seen this? Bush and Blair have been nominated for the Nobel peace prize! As Dave Tory pointed out, it's better than Yasser Arafat, but still. Makes you wonder whether Mother Teresa bombed anyone. Perhaps if one could attach magnets in appropriate places to Alfred Nobel, we could make a small electricity generator with his spinning corpse...

Random word for today: Peace
