A Beautiful Sunny Weekend
2001-05-13 - 20:27 Good Church tonight. Had good/bad day yesterday, one of the those days where I seemed to only own half a brain, and hence forgot to do loads of stuff, although I also went to see Bridget Jones's Diary with Ricci and Chris and it was very good, although an extreme usage of the f-word. It was nice - we sat on the grass by the river for a bit and made daisy chains - Ricci made one for me and then extended one I'd made for a necklace for Chris. We read his poems, and all made lots of 'flippant remarks'. Then we went up to buy some tea with a definitely over-stressed woman serving at the counter. She wasn't rude, she just kept forgetting stuff and staring blankly, so it was (bad) service with a smile. We went and watched the film, although we were probably a fairly terrible audience because we kept whispering to each other... I instructed Ricci that there was to be no kissing Chris in the dark, she's my girlfriend :-) Haven't done that much today; showed symptoms of insanity in my driving lesson. Also I did some psychology, Ricci called, and I had this weird idea to set up a diary of a fictional character (blame Bridget). So I did. If you decide to read it, start from the beginning, it'll make things clearer! Like I said, Church was good. Helped me get focused again, I've been staring at the cars too much this weekend, to use a driving analogy. You're meant to look at the gap, not the cars! So I'm trying to pray more.
