A prelude to tea-bags

I can hardly hear myself think, as Stephen is showing off his stereo to his friend Andrew.

So stuff since I last wrote...

We're talking again! This is a massive improvement :-)

I am really happy about it.

I am going to have a 'sleepover' (jeez that sounds tacky) Saturday, for my birthday on Sunday, because I ought to do something for the big one seven. So far, Nicky, Chris, and Sara say they'll come, I have yet to ask Abi or Chelle. Although Nicky called Chelle weird tody, not to her face, but to me. But never mind...

Got an e-mail from Lolita today... Nicky says she's told her, Nicola, her REAL NAME! (shock horror)

I like the name Lolita, though. It's pretty. I like her diary too... I'll have to add it to my links.

I think it's cool to have a secret identity, but it's all I can do to keep my own name under check. At times when I don't feel like Helen at all, or at least the Helen other people see, I want to hold on to it with all my heart.

Now that was a bit of strange philosophy, wasn't it?

Sooooo first things first. Friday. A bad day, but at least I went to 'Hopes and Dreams' hearing Christina sing and watching some truly awful dramas.... Actually one was really good, with the Devil and a junior demon: It turns out that Satan was completely deaf, which is pretty damn amazing. Some were quite good, but lost me a bit. Christina's Dad's drama was so damn terrible it was hilarious.

On Saturday I went to the hospital as usual, and it turns out that Trudy (see In a foul mood... in older entries) is actually Ashley. I had quite a good time, not many whinging people, although there was that strange lady, Miss Shields, and I spilt her mineral enriched drink thing all over her table and bed and floor. There was also this little old lady who is always asking me for things. She called me 'nurse'. Not quite, not quite! I read a woman's get well cards out to her, and gave tea to the nice man who comes to see his mother. So all went pretty well really. Ashley invited me to a party (I don't know if she was serious) and seeing as it was that evening, I had to say no. Still it was a nice thought.

OK, more in a mo, I have to make mum some tea...
