Thank you for the gifts, until we speak again
2001-01-31 - 20:24 Sally and I are meeting up on Sunday. I don't want to do this, I don't want to get into this situation with her mum, but I'm going to because I know I have to sometime and I don't want to hurt Sally's feelings. She's good fun when she's not scrounging or being over-childish. Yes, I have to admit, despite her moments, I like being with her, it's not just charity. There were times when it was, and I feel kind of guilty about that, but she still likes me and didn't see through me. OK, so on Sunday hopefully everything will be sorted out. As for God, he's doing stuff like the angels in that mortals and angels game. Just leaving notes and presents and waiting until it's the right time to come in person. And prayers still feel like I'm leaving notes where he left his presents, to say thank you, but I don't mind, it's rather nice, and although I'm not feeling particularly close, I know he's waiting until I'm ready. Something will happen, but I don't know what yet. Some help with Sunday would be nice. Last time at the orthodontist's. He was really nice, and I feel kind of guilty I didn't get im a card. Maybe I'll buy one and send it to him. I hope my sister's happy. I think she is having dilemmas. I pray that it gets sorted out. (I'll write that on my next thank-you note). Must do some work, or else I'll fall behind. There's some Biology I can do. Double chemistry with John E. tomorrow! And Digby R's lesson will be so weird without chatting to Susann. Oh and Grandma didn't win Fifteen to One, and I knew the answer to the last question she got wrong. She did, too. Gershwin!!!
