A Toad-Elevating Moment

Anyone want to hear an interesting story? Might as well.

OK, so last year my beloved sister Nicky was depressed and not all that happy with life in general. A guy called 'Mr. X' started sending her strange e-mails. He sent her challenges to complete and for each completed challenge, he sent her a clue as to who he was. How come Nicky meets all the interesting people :-). Nicky's back to her normal self - just as lovely and more cheerful - except for of course, the occasional understandable upsets, like the stuff that went on at school when they found her diary. How annoyed did the behaviour of those Sixth Formers make me? Grrr. Enough of the irrelevancies.

Mr. X turned out to be a nice and tall guy called Jonathan, who she is now going out with (aaah! Got to be the most interesting how-we-met story in the world though!). One day, I'm not sure of her motivation, she decided to send him an e-mail from an unknown address as 'Miss X'. Yee-es. With a little help from me (actually, I practically did it single-handedly. I AM Miss X! Not really :-) ) Where was I? I'm really as bad as the Wife of Bath! With a little help from me, she started sending him challenges. Course, he had a fairly good idea who it was... But let's not spoil the fun. With some vague clues, and the eventual link to a web address with a riddle on it, he found out officially she was Miss X. The thing is, a couple of the challenges sent to him were in the form of attachments of Word documents. Early challenges. And guess who forgot to change the author information? They told me this yesterday as Nicky was in to hand her books in. They kept me giggling for ages with that news. Jonathan said that he tried to ignore the more obvious clues!!!

I also went to CU yesterday. We discussed a lunchtime club that we want to set up. Could be really good! Although we can't think of a name - 'Essence' I think is the current one we like best. Reminds me of something in Monty Python Speaks; trying to find a name for their new show. 'A Horse, a Spoon, and a Basin.' 'Bunn Wackett Buzzard Stubble and Boot.' 'Owl Stretching Time.' Yeah, 'Owl Stretching Time', definitely. Damn names. Just hope it gets off the ground! It'd be really good if it did. Having a pray about it, obviously!

Biology trip tomorrow. Cool.
