To sleep, to sleep perchance to...
Thursday, Oct. 21, 2004 - 13:05

I woke up this morning quite naturally, feeling bright and refreshed, slightly confused at the extraordinarily vivid dream I'd just had, and marvelling at how sunny it was outside.
Yes, I'd overslept. Why on earth does my workplace have to be out in the sticks? Why indeed do I not own a bike? Why, at the age of twenty, is it that I cannot even ride a bike? I ended up getting the train and then a lift, because I hadn't set my alarm properly. I think with next month's paycheck a proper radio alarm will be in order (I have one at home but it makes an annoying buzzy noise even when the radio's off and it makes me so annoyed I unplug it).
I'm hopefully going to 'housegroup' tonight. That's a small group connected with the church I've settled at where there are only a few people so it's a bit cosier and easier to chat. I say hopefully because if there's stuff to do here I'll feel guilty because I should really make up the time...
It's really quiet in the office right now. They're all out playing football... Actually, Jackie's here and I was supposed to be testing buffer for her. Jackie's great. She knows everything :) I'll ask her what she needs doing...

Random word for today: vacillating
