trivial pursuits
2000-12-22 - 23:14 Just a few tivialities I thought I would add in to today after the 'serious' entry. I had my hair cut. I like it, even though Sue did it in ten minutes instead of the stylish 'have some-cute-but-gay guy take three quarters of an hour with a variety of accessories (after a relaxing wash and head massage)in some funky place where they play cool music' affair. Call me pampered, but I just prefer it that way. I saw a card from cousin Frances (the doctor in the family, Mum's Dad's Sister's Daughter) that referred to me as Helen Louise. I don't mind this, in fact you'll find me in diarist.net under this name. It just seems odd. Maybe she thinks Mum gave that to me as a full name. I like it; Helen-Louise. It's quite a pretty name, really. I congratulated my Mum on having though of it. I got a swift reply to the e-mail I sent to Capalert, saying that mentioning sex within marriage in a film is bad, as is showing the femal anatomy deliberately. Surely women do that all the time? The man also claimed that despite the man in Corrina, Corrina talking to God at the end, it was still wrong because he lied. Surely he didn't if he didn't know any better. Some people really make me impatient. I just deleted the e-mail. They're stubborn, just like me, so I couldn't be bothered.
