Kettle, Tea bags, Coffee and Sugar
A door stop (a hospitality tip I picked up from Soul Survivor)
A lamp
I have a feeling my parents would feel better if I brought some condoms with me...
Some clothes
My Bible, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Heidi, The Reluctant Vampire (that's Mum's, but I'll ask if I can take it), Old Possum's Book of Practical Cats, all my Asimovs and Alice in Wonderland. All the books that make me feel happy :) Oh yes, and the Johnny books by Terry Pratchett, and maybe How to do your Homework in Ten Seconds Flat, even though they probably don't have 'How to pass your degree in ten seconds flat'. And the Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass, aged 37 and three quarters. Poo, I want to take too many books :) Who do you think you are? by Steve Mawston, and whatever else I can cram in. Yeah, that's it...
Pens, paper, that sort of thing. Must buy myself a pack of biros, and also remember to take my leverarch folders.
Eleanor, my oldest teddy bear. Sentimental, I know, but I'm planning on leaving Philippa, Chris, Flopsy, Bear and Mint behind. Congratulate me on my restraint :). I just think that she'll be a useful teddy to have around if I feel homesick.
Posters! I think I still have my Bubblegum 'Smile' one around. Also I have one of Van Gogh's 'Starry night'. Ooh, that reminds me, I'll take my Van Gogh book. If I have room after all the other books.
The elephant bookends. They won't be a priority, but if I can pick them up maybe one weekend...

Have any of you heard that song that goes 'it's getting hot in here, so take off all your clothes'? I hate that song with a passion.

Just imagine the horror I felt when I walked into one of the venues at Soul Survivor and heard the Tribe singing 'It's getting hot in here.'

The next line they sang was, 'So open the window.'

I love that!
