A Curious Girl: In the valley

Something I've noticed about this diary is that, like my bedroom, I tidy up, I sort things out, I go minimalist, I shove everything in its own little cubby hole, and sooner or later, I can't find what I need, I get it out, and the whole place looks cluttered again.

My designs have actually been getting simpler and simpler. First it was all tables and rings and polls and links and then I made a nice easy to use area map, then I cleared the whole lot up to separate places and made buttons for them, and changed my fancy fonts and images to arial which looks the same practically anywhere. Then I added a few links, then a few more, and what you see now is the result of me knocking all those links into a couple of menus (below) and leaving some lovely white (sorry, yellow) space free with no buttons, pictures, garish colours, just my lovely title image (above) that I used from someone's labyrinth site and, obviously, altered (and that was back in August when I had layout frenzy). And I like my new layout very much, even though it's a little plain... tell me if you like it.

I've spent today... well... not doing very much other than painting my nails light blue and yellow alternately, and changing the layout, and worrying. About Monday's assembly that the Christian Union is doing. But my worries have Satan's fingerprints all over them; it's paranoia rather than logic. And so, conversely, I'm more certain. Maybe God's job for me in this is simply to encourage the others that it's the right thing. I don't have to be the one who has 'the big idea' - I don't have to be the apostle. Paul encourages people to make the most of every opportunity, and Satan wouldn't want to tamper with me if we weren't on to something good. Once again, please pray for us!

I'm feeling depressed, but God loves me. Please Lord, keep reminding me, I need it.
