The visual tour

So here I am again... I've been to church, read some of Maya Angelou's Gather together in my name, oh yes, and finished reading Eric Morecambe's book The Reluctant Vampire for about the fifteenth time. I love that book.

Also... I took some piccies to go with last entry :) Click on them to see them full size.

It's one of my elephant bookends :)

Eleanor is on the left. The bear Mum knitted is on the right. Eleanor was originally pink, and had a lot more stuffing. The badge reads 'Boffins R Us!' and was made at a summer fair I went to with Christina when we were both in the first year of secondary school. The summer fair was at our primary school, and three teachers greeted us with, 'Hello, what fantastic exam results you got.' The little box right of my first teddy I got when I was three and was so attached to I never threw it away. It currently has Guatemalan worry people in it :)

The cuddly mouse is called Mint, named by my Mum's half-sister Amy, who was about nine at the time. I made it almost entirely by myself at school when I was eleven (Amy's younger than me!), and I was very proud of it. I still am, as Mint tops my sewing achievements easily.

The music is 'Arrival of the Queen of Sheba' by Handel, arranged for piano by Josephine Rayner, and copyright of someone in Corby. At the moment, I still can't play it well but I'm much improved :)

A shelf-portrait :) (Yes I know it's landscape)

The ornament of the two dogs I think was Mum's originally - she gave it to me. The dolphin was from Christina, the little Volkswagon Beetle was from Abi, and the little picture frames contain pieces of A10 paper with selected madness as written by Sara. You can just see my large Horrible History Collection.

The black cat profile on my lightswitch.

The painting of my plant from Eden, otherwise known as Frank, last seen here. Practically everyone says it's a sunflower, plus I saw some small sunflowers in bloom in pots a few days ago and they looked like designer versions of Frank. *smile* And just think, I thought that she was going to die and my whole experiment in seed faith would be a bit of a farce.

And the genuine article :)
