Week 10 already

Term is nearly over.

AAAAARGH!! :) Seriously, though I'm looking forward to seeing my family, having money, eating real food, watching television and wandering through my home towns again, I'm not entirely sure I want to go... Not meant to be an insult to my parents or friends - in an ideal world, they'd all be living up here with me, just I don't want to leave uni! :) I won't see Matthew for days and I won't have strange and wacky things to do, and I won't be able to go to my favourite cocktail/milkshake place when I like and no more baguettes for lunch and what about Dougsoc? :)

Right... Calm down... At least I can watch some films I like :) And go visit Matthew. And Sara's coming down. And finally have the long chat with Abi and David (yes, you, texting me randomly :) ) and Duck and people I generally like to chat with. OK, so I'll miss the pasta but I've bought some pesto to take down with me, and bizarrely enough (rather unexpectedly) I'll be able to go to Church more frequently. I envy Christina because she loves her Oxford church, the churches I've been to are nice but it'll be good to go to one where the people know me.

The other week I went to church and because there was just a small circle of us, when it came to Communion we served it to each other... It was nice but strange because I've never served Communion to anyone and I ended up giving it to the minister! He's a lovely person though, at the Christian Focus meal yesterday he was sitting next to me and chatting away, including me in the conversation and things which was good because I have no idea how to engage a minister in conversation. Or indeed, anyone much older than me. Hmm. Although when I was volunteering at the hospital I spoke to a lot of old ladies, old ladies are great conversationalists for the most part, it could be because they've lived so long and they've stopped being shy...
