A Curious Girl: O Essay, where art thou?

Somehow the tutorial system was disrupted and when I went to see my supervisor this morning he didn't have my essay. Actually it was nice to see him, although he mildly berated me for not revising enough and advised me to manage my time better, it was a nice little chat, I told him what I'd been up to and he told me that, despite my exam marks being around a 2.2 (Genetics was apparently above average though, woohoo!), he considered me 2.1 material. *Big Smile*. In some ways I'm very pleased that he didn't say that I could get a first. If I worked really hard and had no life I might, indeed, get a first, but on the other hand I'm sick of people predicting that I'm a genius when my exam marks don't live up to it.

Apparently my chemistry supervisor wrote on my tutorial report that I was 'strangely quiet for someone normally chirpy' during that tutorial. Bizarre - everyone's got me taped! :)

So I went to see Dr. P, my tutor for this term, to see if I could get my prions essay. She didn't have it either, having passed it on through some system or other to Dr. H, my Biology supervisor. She told me that it was OK, a little informal and she'd given me lots of advice on that on the actual essay. Then as I left she said, 'Bye Polly!' and ruined the whole effect :) So did she mean my essay or Polly's essay? Mine could have been dire... or it could have been wonderful. Oh well.

My last chemistry practical was easy. Makes a pleasant change :)

What else? Nothing much, I don't think. I might be (sort of) repeating last term's trick and staying up really late tonight :) *cackles*. Actually I still have a lot of packing to do.

Do you know, I've just reread last term's last entry and I sound not that much worse than normal. Quite depressing... :)
