Just purse your lips and whistle, that's the thing

I have meticulously counted out and packaged in 100s nine hundred seeds this evening. I still have nine hundred more to do. It's so boring!

But... I forgot to water the cress for my experiment. It's all looking a bit dead. Plus I went and inhaled loads more sulphur dioxide fumes today :( But on the bright side, Mrs. P (an alledged nudist!) spoke in assembly today and decided to use her daughter Ruth (or Peggy!) who is currently in Snowdonia as an example we should all follow about trying to look on the bright side. I'm sure Peggy will be delighted to hear that the whole of the sixth form has heard about her Welsh exploits... well, the sixth form that attends assembly, anyway.

Rory is getting more outright. I can't think of many questions he hasn't asked me yet. In any case, the answer's always no. *sigh*

James's 17th birthday tomorrow... dammit, I'm getting sentimental, I just realised I won't be around for his 18th.

I was going to think of more interesting things to say, but I can't think of any so...

Nicky, the children I met yesterday were aged 7 and 8.

Right, I have eight hundred more seeds to count...
