One person is kind enough to tell Helen she sucks
2001-08-09 - 10:24 Hey guess what I just discovered? Someone nominated (and voted for, I assume) me for a Suck Award hence a rather insulting message of 'you suck' that I received in one of my poll comments box. I only got one vote - I was down as longwinded - 'gives new meaning to the word long and has nothing to say' was the general gist of it. I'm almost struggling to be insulted by this, but in truth, the fact that someone can be bothered to write the comment, nominate and vote for me makes me feel special :-) And I find the things I say interesting! Wonder if that person's still around? Hellooo? It's nice to know you care. I've always been told I talk too much and when I do it's mostly rubbish! This is probably why I find it quite funny. I've noticed that people who leave criticisms, usually cruel ones, in guestbooks, never leave their name, let alone e-mail address. But if someone's not even willing to put a name to what they believe in, what kind of criticism is it? If I ever recieve a message like that in my guestbook, I'm going to just delete it. Which is probably why that person put it where I couldn't delete. Oh yes, and more favourite novels - The Scarlet Pimpernel by Baroness Orcszy (sp?), The BFG by Roald Dahl, The Ordinary Princess by M.M. Kaye. Most of them are children's books - well I've been a child much longer than I've been an adult.
